An exhibition showcasing photos and documents on Hoang Sa (the Paracel)
and Truong Sa (the Spratly) Islands in the East Sea was held at the
Cultural Center of Jahrhunderthalle Bochum in Germany recently.
An antiquities exhibition featuring the lotus flower
opened yesterday at the Viet Nam National Museum of History in Ha Noi,
introducing local and international visitors to the beauty and
significance of the lotus in Vietnamese culture.
South Korean high school student Chihyun Ryu has spent her time in Ha
Noi over the last three and a half years walking around Hoan Kiem Lake,
and riding on the back of her father''s motorbike taking videos of the
chaotic traffic.
Artworks by Bui Cong Khanh, Nguyen Van Cuong, Phan Thao Nguyen, Tung Mai
and the late artist Vu Tan Dan are on display at Bangkok Arts and
Culture Centre.
Nguyen Van Cuong of Ha Noi claimed his first win in
the Return to Truong Son cycling tournament after finishing first in the
149km fourth stage from Ha Tinh City to Dong Hoi City.
